According to the data, from January to May this year, the export value of China's home textile products to ASEAN was 1.82 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 33%; the export value to the United States was 3.83 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 8.6%; the export value to the EU was 1.51 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 10.9% ; Exports to Japan were US$1.03 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.5%.
At the same time, in the first five months of this year, the export of China's home textile products to emerging markets showed a significant growth trend. Data show that from January to May this year, the export value of China's home textile products to the countries along the "Belt and Road", the 6 countries of the Middle East GCC and the 5 countries of Central Asia were 3.88 billion US dollars, 640 million US dollars and 320 million US dollars, respectively, a year-on-year increase. 28.6%, 13.7% and 81.7%; exports to Australia and Africa were US$540 million and US$610 million, respectively, an increase of 11.4% and 23.7% year-on-year; exports to Latin America were US$700 million, an increase of 12.5% year-on-year.
